Have an iPhone?   Then you can add the Pack 766 calendar to your phone's calendar app! This will allow you to view the Pack 766 calendar from your phone at any time, and have it updated as changes are made to it.   This should work on any iPhone sold since 2010, and takes less than 5 minutes to set up.

First, for the Pack 766 calendar (Den calendars below), copy the following link:

Scroll down and click "Other" at the bottom of the list.  You will see the following screen:

Click "Add Subscribed Calendar" to see the following screen:

Paste the link you copied from above into this page and click "Next."  If all goes well, the following page will appear:

Click "Save" and you're done!  Now go into your Calendar app and you should see the Pack 766 calendar appear side-by-side with your own calendar.  If you want to hide the Pack calendar, click on the "Calendars" button on the top-left corner of the iPhone screen where you can show/hide all of the calendars your iPhone has access to.

Have an Android or other phone? It should work on other platforms.

For the Den calendars, repeat the same process using the links below:

Don’t forget to use Scoutbook to see your Scout’s progress. If you have never logged in let your Den leader know so an invitation can be sent to you. You can use Scoutbook to see upcoming events and check your son’s progress.

2016 Popcorn Sales

posted Aug 27, 2016, 1:52 PM by Josh Herrington   [ updated Aug 27, 2016, 1:53 PM ]

The Cub Scout program is both fun and challenging. Each year the Cubs of Pack 766 take part in a wide variety of activities designed to teach them new concepts and skills. To cover the cost of our program we raise money in two key ways; Cub Scout Dues and Popcorn Sales. Dues contribute approximately 30% of the Pack’s total funds and Popcorn Sales approximately 70%.

Our Pack sales goal is $18,000.

How it Works: We sell popcorn for only six weeks!! A company by the name of Trail’s End provides the popcorn and all of the sales material needed. There are three ways the Cubs can participate in popcorn:

  • Door-to- Door Sales - This is where the Cubs put on their Class A uniforms and “pound the pavement” to sell popcorn to people in their neighborhoods.
    • Sell product when you have it, take orders on your order form when you don’t
    • Record ALL orders on your order form
    • If you take orders, tell the customer the popcorn will arrive the week of Nov. 6
    • Collect money when you make the sale
    • Checks should be made out to “Pack 766”
  • Show ‘n Sell - This is where members of the pack sell together at a local venue such as a grocery store. Scouts and parents are encouraged to volunteer to help during one of these sessions. We will be selling on Saturdays and Sundays in September plus a few weekday evenings. Sign Up Genius is still being updated with dates and location; please check back at a later time: www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4eada923a4ff2-popcorn1.
  • Online Sales - Trail’s End has a nifty online sales site where each Cub and register to send e-mails to friends and family asking them to support the Pack by ordering popcorn online. The e-mail contains a link that whisks buyers away to the Trail’s End online store where they place their orders. Trail’s End then ships the online orders directly to the customer. Signing up for online sales is very easy. Just go to the following web site www.Trails-End.com. Click the “Register” link in the upper right hand corner and select “Pack 766 Gateway District Denver Area” and the rest is easy! Parents will have to help Cubs sign-up including verifying that their son is participating via e-mail.

posted Sep 1, 2015, 12:17 PM by Pack 766

The Wolf Den has grown from 5 scouts to 15! The new Den Leader is Steve Roche. Assistant den leaders are Jenny Goebel, Lisa Good and Chad Johnson. Den meetings are the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays 6:30-7:30. The first den meeting will be September 15. Be aware that the name of the google calendar has changed to include the new Den Leader name, so if you imported the calendar into your own google account, you may have to do it again.
