Then you probably have some questions... contact the den leader at the link above and leave your phone number.  We'd love to talk to you about Scouting.

What the Wolves are "Doing"...
  • Next Meeting- Monday December 4 at 6

Quick recap with exception of 4B - Community Service Project (pg. 59) we just finished Council Fire. We will complete that on Dec. 16th when we all do Wreaths Across America at Cypress Hill Cemetery. If you had homework to do because you missed a meeting please make it up so we can make sure your child gets a belt loop.

Saturday, December 16- Wreaths Across America service project at Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn.  I believe the start time is 11 am, but I have to double check that. If you would like to sponsor a Remembrance Wreath, click here-     https://wreaths.fastport.com/donateLocation.htmlpage=28320&relate=16641#.WAZhGKsK2hY.facebook

The next two belt loops we will work on our Duty to God and Howling at the moon.

In Duty to God we will complete 1A (pg. 71) when we go to the Cypress Hill Cemetery and then can complete 1B (pg.73) afterwords at the next den meeting. The rest of the requirements starting on pg. 74 will be done at home with your kids. This will give you the opportunity to share with your child what God means to you and how you demonstrate your duty to God. You only need to chose two of the task from 2A -2D in order to complete the requirement. If you can have it done by Dec. 16th it would be appreciated. Afterwards the will have met the requirements to earn this belt loop.

That will give us the last few meetings before the Christmas Holidays to finish Howling at the Moon which will get them there 4 belt loop which will only leave three belt loops left in the new year so they can earn there wolf badge in March.

Lastly, Scott Fertitta is organizing Christmas Cards for Troops instead of the care packages that we did last year. (Lots of shipping issues). He is asking if everyone can bring in a box of blank cards. He will take a group photo of the boys and then mail them out to be sent to our troops overseas. Let's make the deadline for the cards by Dec. 4th so he has time to print them out and get them shipped off in time.
