What the Wolfs are "Doing"... 
  • Recap We have just completed the Family Family Activity Badge. The boys learned different ways their family spends money. They discussed ways to have fun as a family. We started last Tuesday (10/15) on the Scientist Badge. The boys learned some of the different laws of Science. Bernoulli's principle, Pascal's law, Newton's first law of motion. We will be continuing this section for a few more weeks.

  • Working Hard The Webelos I Den did a great job catching up after having 2 weeks off. We completed Forester 1, 2 and 3, and Traveler 1. The boys learned about the different forest and trees across the United States, the layers of the forest and 6 different types of trees found in Delaware. I gave the boys the first few pages of Big Trees of Delaware and you can download it by clicking this link: Big Trees of Delaware. This is a very interesting book and will help them towards their Forester Achievement. We also began working on Traveler tonight with the boys following an Amtrak timetable and where the train runs between Washington, DC and Philadelphia. With a little bigger ...

  • Welcome Webelos I! Welcome back, I hope you all had a good Summer! Now you will be starting you journey to the Arrow of Light and graduation to the Boy Scouts near the end of 5th Grade. I look forward to a lot of fun, adventure and learning. See you soon.. .. .
