Monsters are created by combining a base with any number of monster traits.
A monster's rating
is a rough estimate of their difficulty, with higher rated monsters providing better rewards when slain.
All monsters possess the same attributes
that players have. These may be altered by special monster traits
that raise the rating of the monster.
is the amount of damage a character can take before dying. At and below
zero, a character will begin to die unless prompt attention given.
Normally, health does not regenerate.
- Stamina is the
amount of physical force a character can exert before becoming
exhausted. A character will normally regenerate one point of stamina per
turn, and double that when skipping a turn.
is the amount of mental force that a character can exert before
becoming exhausted. A character will normally regenerate one point of
energy per turn, and double that when skipping a turn.
is divine power granted by a deity. A character gains piety at the end
of each day, depending on how closely conduct was followed.
- Carrying capacity,
which limits the amount of weight units that can be carried around.
- Movement speed, which is how far a character can move in a single turn.
