Anagama During Firing

Left:  Wood-Fired Soda Kiln                Right: Anagama

Constructed in 2011, the Cub Creek Anagama contains 100 cu ft. of firing space. Firings are scheduled every two months or as needed.

Sharing the chimney of our Anagama is a wood fired soda kiln with 50 cu feet of firing space.

Our gas kiln is a 60 cu ft sprung arch soft brick kiln. It is perfectly balanced at cone 10 and produces consistently beautiful reduction glazes.

The Cub Creek wood fired salt kiln is currently being rebuilt, with plans for 50 cu feet of firing space under a sprung arch.

One Skutt manual electric kiln is located in the kiln shed measuring 7 cu feet.
