Anagama During Firing

Wood:

Constructed in 2011, the Cub Creek Anagama contains 100 cu ft. of firing space. Firings are scheduled every two months or as needed.

Wood/Soda:

Sharing the chimney of our Anagama is a wood fired soda kiln with 50 cu feet of firing space.

Gas:

Our gas kiln is a 60 cu ft sprung arch soft brick kiln. It is perfectly balanced at cone 10 and produces consistently beautiful reduction glazes.

Wood/Salt:

The Cub Creek wood fired salt kiln is currently being rebuilt, with plans for 50 cu feet of firing space under a sprung arch.

Electric:

One Skutt manual electric kiln is located in the kiln shed measuring 7 cu feet.
