The Club Baseball team at the University of Colorado is a member of the NCBA (National Club Baseball Association) and are part of the Mid-America West Conference. As a team we maintain a strong desire to compete at the highest level possible while still enjoying a fun love for the game of baseball.
The Division 1 program was cut in the mid 1980's along with several other varsity sports with the institution of Title IX. The team has been part of the Club Sports Organization ever since. With this in mind, our team is proud to be the only representative of baseball that the University has, and we show this buffalo pride on and off the ball field.
Our schedule consists of 15-20 games in the Fall season and 30-40 games in the Spring season. We play Northern Colorado, Colorado State, and Wyoming eight times each during the spring season to compete for the division title. We also play various community colleges, junior colleges, and other university club teams to fill out our non-conference schedule.
Every year we hold tryouts at the beginning of both the fall and spring seasons. All are welcome to come out to tryouts however there are limited roster spots. Further, we expect all athletes to participate fully in practices and games.
