Welcome to the Center For Teacher Innovation Framework for Teaching. We offer two pathways for individuals wishing to substitute teach long term and/or teach full time in their own classroom.


Option 1: Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave (TPSL): The TPSL permit allows an employing agency to fill a position where the teacher of record is unable to teach due to statutory leave (medical or otherwise) with a temporary teacher of record for the duration of the leave. Participants can enter the self-paced program at any time and complete the program entirely online. Participants who have completed all three levels of the TPSL program have the option to apply for equivalency to the IMPACT IE Pre-Service component. Please click here for more information.

Option 2: IMPACT IE Education Specialist Intern Program: The Riverside County Office of Education, in partnership with Tulare County Office of Education, is offering an alternative pathway to earning a California Teaching Credential through our new Education Specialist
