Welcome to the Center For Teacher Innovation Framework for Teaching. Our Framework for Teaching program offers two pathways for individuals wishing to substitute teach long term and/or enter our IMPACT IE Intern Program.

Option 1: Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave (TPSL): The TPSL permit allows an employing agency to fill a position where the teacher of record is unable to teach due to statutory leave (medical or otherwise) with a temporary teacher of record for the duration of the leave. Participants can enter the self-paced program at any time and complete the program entirely online. Participants who have completed all three levels of the TPSL program have the option to apply for equivalency to the IMPACT IE Pre-Service component. Please click here for more information.

Option 2: Pre-Service Component for IMPACT IE Education Specialist Intern Program: The Riverside County Office of Education, in partnership with Tulare County Office of Education, will be launching the Impact IE Intern Program, available to District Education Specialist Interns in Riverside County, in fall of 2018. The Framework for Teaching Pre-Service component consists of prerequisite coursework that must be completed by a potential intern prior to entering an intern program. Sessions will be offered in spring and summer 2018. The first step to registering and completing the Pre-Service component is to attend an Information Meeting. Information Meetings will be held on the following dates:
