What do we do?

We go out every Sunday, around the Chilterns and South Hertfordshire, enjoying quiet lanes, welcoming cafes and cheerful pubs. Our rides are usually between 50 to 60 miles long and take all day. We start at 9 or 9.15 am from Bushey, Croxley Green or Edgwarebury Lane. See "Sunday rides" for details.

We also go away for weekends and holidays ~ around Britain and over the Channel to France and Spain. See "Events" for details.

We have a club night in Stanmore at 8pm on the second Thursday of each month ~ topics include slide shows, holiday albums, route planning ..... check the rides list for details. Some of us meet at the Weatherspoons across the road beforehand for a beer and something to eat (Thursday night is curry night).

And we also go for walks - yes, we are a cycling club but sometimes it's nice to have non-cycling family and friends join us. Every November we all go to Castleton in Derbyshire for a weekend to see the Christmas lights and enjoy the excellent walking in the area. Our New Year's Day walk is another regular fixture - this is a local one. We also walk if it is too icy to cycle.
