I study the forces behind institutions and organizations using economic and legal analysis. I am particularly interested in natural and field experiments.
I received my Ph.D. in Law and Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the University of Bologna, and Hamburg University (2013). 

I am a graduate in Law at the University of Manchester (LL.M., 2009) and at Bocconi University (Laurea, 2006; M.Sc., 2008).
