The Colorado State University Chemistry Club is an ACS affiliate chapter dedicated to expanding chemical knowledge and scientific experience in our community. We provide both hands-on and hands-off demonstrations for all school age groups, and we take an active stance in improving and benefiting our department. This is accomplished by our fantastic Outreach department, giving demonstrations for grade school students both at Colorado State University and at their school, in addition to giving college students demonstrations. Each spring, CSU Chemistry Club travels to the American Chemical Society conference, a great opportunity to learn more about the world of chemistry and the career opportunities it can offer.

Typical yearly activities include but are not limited to:

-outreach shows to elementary schools

-a large Halloween outreach show/carnival for children

-safety goggle sales to chemistry lab students

-fantastic demonstrations during each meeting

If you're interested in checking out our outreach events, our fun demonstrations, or are interested in the field of chemistry in general, feel free to check us out. We meet every other Tuesday at 6:15 pm in Yates 406.
