Brief characteristics of the research group
The Cognitive Structural Research Group (CSM Research Group) is enlarged subgroup of Curriculum Studies Research Group. It was founded by Prof. Zaskodny and Dr. Tarabek as Analytical-synthetic Modelling Research Group. This research group was detached from the core group because of the reseach interest specialization. It makes the methodological support for the core group in the sense of mathematical and theoretical modelling.
We investigate the possibility of application of three main types of modelling into the curriculum studies, science education, economics education. We also provide the application of the modelling to data mining, data analysis and data visualization. We have presented these applications at various international conferences.
The CSM Research Group closely cooperates with Educational Publisher Didaktis, Ltd. (the member of European Educational Publishers Group, Denmark) in the field of textbook research, development and improvement.
