Sharon Hudson

Rev. Sharon Hudson is currently serving her second term as Ecclesiastical Representative for UCSL.  In this role she provides support to more than 50 centers in Southern California and Hawaii.  She connects with them regularly as the liaison from home office, supports them during times of transition, facilitates the co-creation process to prepare for candidating for a new minister, and works with ministers and leadership when issues arise.

Rev. Sharon was the founding Minister of Light of Life Center in Rancho Bernardo, California, where she served for 10 years before returning to the corporate world as Director of Human Resources and Administration for a technology company. 

Rev. Sharon has been in Religious Science and New Thought since she was a teen. She became a licensed Religious Science practitioner in 1992, a Religious Science minister in 1995 and was ordained in 1999. She served as a chaplain at San Diego Children’s hospital for 5 years and was also a Chaplain for Horizon Hospice in Poway, CA.

She is an instructor at Holmes Institute Graduate School of Consciousness studies where she has taught courses on Leadership, Metaphysical Bible, and Conflict Resolution. She has presented workshops at Asilomar on developing healthy relationships and communication skills.  She has served on teams developing policies and procedures for the new CSL.

Prior to entering the ministry Sharon’s career as an accountant led her to become a systems analyst and software developer of financial applications.  She managed a data center and programming staff.
