The Ombudsman Program is an advocacy program that promotes high quality, compassionate care for residents of long-term care services through complaint investigation, mediation and resolution. The Ombudsman Program also provides education and consultation on long-term care issues to residents their families and the community. Ombudsmen work to assist residents in protecting their rights, health, safety and welfare.
