February Announcements

Tickets for Singin' in the Rain are on sale now!
It is 1927. Hollywood is making the transition from silent movies to 'talkies', and some of the stars don't quite have the pipes to make the switch.  When a group of actors try to save a movie threatened by one shrill-voiced diva, hilarity ensues.

Don't miss this year's musical, full of iconic songs and choreography - the classic "Singin' in the Rain"!  Performances will take place March 8-10th at 7:00pm in the CSH Auditorium. Tickets are $10 each.

Spring and Fall Play Auditions - Thursday, March 15th and Friday, March 16th 2:30-5:00pm
Congratulations to Stephanie Kiel, who will be directing A Midsummer Night's Dream this Spring!  Auditions will be held in tandem with auditions for next year's Fall play, You Can't Take It With You.  If you are interested in auditioning for either play, please select one of the four monologues in the link below to prepare for your audition.  Also, please take some time to read the script for You Can't Take It With You to familiarize yourself with the characters.  Students will perform their selected monologues in an open audition on Thursday, March 15th.  On Friday, March 16th we will have cold reads for each of the plays.

Auditions for Improv Class 2019 - Thursday, March 22nd 2:30-4:30pm
Come to this two hour workshop/audition to do improv with some of Chatfield's finest!  This audition is truly oriented toward familiarizing everyone with Chatfield improv formats.  You do not need any experience to attend, just a positive attitude and a strong sense of play! Students will participate in some basic improv performance games, and may be selected to be a part of next year's improv class.  If you want to get a sense of what this class would be like, be sure to come to our Improv workshops every Thursday after-school!

Thespian Points/Lettering Requirements
All thespian points and lettering essays must be submitted by Friday, March 23rd.  You may still be awarded points after this date, but they will not be allotted to this year's induction requirements.  To find out more information about the Thespian Society and Lettering, click on the "Chatfield Thespian Troupe 4126" tab.
