The Men's Club Yankee Game - July 2008

Our July Yankee game event was a huge success with 36 of our members and their families joining us at The Stadium for an afternoon of great fun, great friends and great memories. Lily Cohen,

Stuart Newman, Charles Pripas, and other CSAIR members of all ages sat together, cheered together and rooted the Bronx Bombers on to an exciting 2-1 victory – featuring two plays-at-the-plate, a right fielder – to shortstop – to 2^nd baseman force out, and an appeal play at 3^rd base.

For most of us this will be the last time we see a game at Yankee Stadium in this, the final season before the home team moves across the street to their new facility. The game featured a turn-back-the-clock pitching performance by Andy Pettitte – who turned in a gem for our Men's Organization (and the other folks in attendance) – a 4 hit, 1 run, 8 inning outing, capped off by a 9^th inning save by the all time best relief pitcher Mariano Rivera.
