Lab 22: Project Prototype

Objectives

  • Develop a working prototype of the circuit.
  • Write a test program for the circuit.
  • Demonstrate your project prototype to the instructor.

Academic Honesty

Read the Scholastic Honesty Policy and Assignment Integrity policies of the syllabus. Here are some clarifications for this particular assignment:

  • You must place the components and wire breadboard yourself, though you may get help from others if you get stuck.
  • You may discuss the code with other students for this lab.
  • You must enter all the code yourself and not copy from another student.

Requirements

  1. Breadboarded the circuit and bring the breadboarded circuit to class.
  2. Develop a test program for the circuit to verify the circuit is functional.
  3. Demonstrate the circuit with the test program running to the instructor.

Grading Criteria (6)

The instructor will evaluate your lab using the following criteria. Thus you should check your lab against these criteria to maximize your score.

Lesson Exercises

  • 2: All lesson exercises from last Wednesday's class attempted and turned in
  • 1: Some lesson exercises completed and turned in
  • 0: No lesson exercises completed or turned in

Initial Prototype Lab

  • 4: Lab completed, source code submitted and works when shown to instructor.
  • 3: Lab completed, source code submitted and breadboarded circuit brought to class to show instructor, but has a minor error.
  • 2: Lab completed, source code submitted and brought to class to show instructor, but had some errors.
  • 1: Labs completed and source code submitted. but not shown to instructor.
  • 0: No labs completed or source code not submitted.
