About Crystal Beach

Crystal Beach in Florida is an adorable place
to live and play along
the coastline of the Gulf of Mexico.
Little Crystal Beach was founded in 1912
by Mr. Avery and Mr. Rebstock
of Crystal Beach in Ontario, Canada.
That is how our little town got its name.
In 1928, Faith Mission relocated to
Crystal Beach, Florida from Tampa.
This mission was home at times to over
eighty orphaned children at one time.
The mission established itself in the vacant
three-story building that had been
the Blue Heron Hotel (since demolished).
The United States Postal Service operates the
Crystal Beach Post Office
at 420 Crystal Beach Avenue.
Residents of Crystal Beach do not have home mail delivery;
they travel to the post office to send and receive mail.
