Short description of the project:
The eTwinning project is focused on making short videos on given topics. The videos prepared by the partners are presented in each school during film „festivals“ (e. g. by the use of projectors or interactive boards). The videos can be also used in different subjects.

We produce 2 or 3 videos a school year, the videos are up to 5 minutes. The topic is given, but the way it is worked is up to everyone – it can be a film with actors, documentary or educational film, animated film…

Pupils and the visitors of the web have an opportunity to vote for the best videos. The winners are awarded on the project website and they receive a certificate via e-mail. But it is not important to win, but to take part!  It is a unique chance to work on something interesting, watch and compare videos prepared by peers from different countries, represent the country we live in... All the pupils also have a chance to be in touch via the internet.
The project Crossing borders via videos was created in the framework of the project School television as a way to develop key competencies
(reg. number CZ.1.07/1.1.05/04.0030, operational Programme Eduation for Competitiveness) by Michal Přibyl, ZŠ TGM Borohrádek, the Czech Republic.
