Sheffield Critical Mass is a fun, free and pro-bicycle ride that takes place in Sheffield
(and many other cities around the world) on the last Friday evening of every month.

  • Everyone is welcome..
  • You just need to bring a bike and that Friday feeling to join in!
  • If you would like to decorate your bike (or yourself!) or bring cake, then even better!

We meet outside Sheffield Town Hall at 6pm on the last Friday of the month, and then enjoy a nice evening ride around Sheffield for an hour or so, before stopping (usually at a pub) for a drink and a chat.

We see our Critical Mass as a celebration of the joy of riding a bike, and a chance to make new friends & chat about local cycling issues. We do not set out to disrupt or delay other traffic and aim to show riding a bike as something which is joyful and positive.

When & where?

Last Friday of every month.

Meet 6pm outside Sheffield Town Hall, Pinstone Street, S1 2HH
