Mariacristina Rossi

I am Full Professor of Economics at the School of Management and Economics, University of Turin, Italy where I also serve as Director of Business & Management three year Bachelor degree .

I regularly teach Growth and Development, Economics of Savings and Pensions, Microeconomics and Interpreting Macroeconomic Scenarios at the School.

I am also research fellow at CeRP, IRCrES-CNR, Netspar and I belong to the Editorial Board of Ingenere.

My research interests cover the household decisions on consumption/saving over the life cycle, precautionary saving, portfolio decision and poverty analysis. My research areas also span human capital accumulation with reference to developing countries and gender economics.

I previously worked as a consultant for ILO, UNICEF, UCW (Understanding Children's Work) and the World Bank.
