Christian Laettner Basketball Academy Announces Clinic with Crisp County Recreation Department
Duke University All-American's academy teams with community
sports program for a one day basketball clinic
Jacksonville, FL - November 29, 2012 - Christian Laettner Basketball Academy announced today it will be hosting a one day basketball clinic at the Crisp County Recreation Department. The academy will provide local youth an opportunity to participate in two hour skills-focused training sessions based on foundational concepts in passing, ball handling and offensive and defensive strategies.
Laettner, a two-time national champion at Duke University, and former NBA All-Star and Olympic Dream Team Gold Medalist, expressed his enthusiasm over the clinic. "We are looking forward to partnering with a great program up there in Cordele. Eric (Bozeman) has done a great job in building the basketball programs. We hope to add to what they are doing with this special event."
Bozeman, Crisp County Recreation Department Director, continually looking to enhance the local programs, said “We are very pleased to have the Christian Laettner Basketball Academy coming to Crisp County. Our community is excited to be getting such high quality instruction for our youth.”
Christian Laettner Basketball Academy, based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL provides a fun, learning environment for basketball players who want to improve their game.
Both team and individual instruction is available to ages 5 through 18 and is provided by Christian Laettner, the former Olympic basketball gold medal winner, and his personally trained staff.
All workouts focus on skill development and is geared towards helping players improve their ball handling and passing, while increasing their understanding of offensive and defensive concepts.

Registration is currently underway for the January 26th clinic.
Two sessions will be offered - one in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for ages 12-18, and an afternoon session from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for ages 6-11.
