I received a PhD in Computer Science from the PUC-Rio in march, 2009 on Computer Vision Algoruthms on GPU, advised by Professors Marcelo Gattass and Paulo Cezar Carvalo.

I got my masters' degree in Computer Graphics in 2005, also by PUC-Rio. At that time, I worked with digital video to extract its shots directly from MPEG compressed stream.

During 2004 I took a lato sensu specialization course of traditional animation methods offered by the PUC-Rio's Arts and Design department.

In 2003 I finished my bachelor degree receiving the title of Bachelor in Informatics by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

See my resume at the  lattes system (CNpq - in Portuguese) or my short resume (in english).

From May to July, 2008 I visited Max-Planck-Institut Informatik  (MPII) in Saarbrücken, German for a research scholarship (DAAD) with Dr.-Ing. Bodo Rosenhahn.
