1)   Start off with any big wins?  

a)   HUGE promotions and changes to CRI management

(1)  Announcement coming soon, will be taking over for Patrick Larcom

2)   Quick Reflection on what we do – looking to strengthen our community.  

a)   We provide the rowing experience to people… 

b)  95% of rowing occurs with coach oversight.  130 Logbbok scullers

c)    Need to continue to focus on the experience of coaching here to improve and strengthen the experience of rowing here

i)     Adding Athlete Ability Statement

ii)    Putting it out there now.. we support and have the back of our staff with making in the moment decisions

(1)  See something wrong with an athlete action or statement. We support you saying something

(2)  If theres a case of not knowing the policy… do your best to do whats right

iii)   Will continue to focus on the experience of coaching at CRI

(1)  Keyless start

(2)  Spent another $2K on shoes this past week

3)   LGBTQ Coach Education –

a)   City of Cambridge LGBTQ+ Commission results of survey and work with … 

b)    Biggest finding was that staff were interested in making their programs more inclusive but wanted support in doing so. 

4)   Safesport and Certification

a)   Recertify after 2 years or not doing it. Do it again

b)  BOD doing Safesport

5)   Parking update – Especially for Canadian Henley

6)   Important upcoming events

a)   CRI Fall Classic – Saturday September 15

7)   Safety – 

a)   It’s getting darker again around the Early AM time slots

b)  Any good messages or themes to shoot out to rowers?

i)     “Winter is coming”…?

8)   Building Update:

a)   New Launches expected by the end of the year.  

b)  Shoes

c)    15000 spacers and care for our stuff

d)   Can we reduce waste?
