FUNNY CRICKET PICTURES
The postponement of Champions Trophy in Pakistan has given enough relaxation to cricketers and opportunities to show their dancing talents. Here it goes. The TV reality show cocktailing TV actresses with cricket players in a dance show are bewildering the TV viewers.
The show comprises six teams. Each team is paired by one cricket player and one TV actress. Dasher S Sreesanth is paired with Surveen Chawla, Harbhajan Singh with Mona Singh, Irfan Pathan with Ashima Bhalla, Wicket keeper Dinesh Karthik with Nigar Khan, Former cricketer Nikhil Chopra with Barkha Bisht, and the southpaw Vinod Kambli with Shama Sikander.
The panel to judges is also an admixture of cricket and glamour. The king of swing Wasim Akram and the bollywood diva and former miss Universe Sushmita Sen are going to judge the winners. Akram has admitted that he has chosen to co-judge the show only because of Sushmita whom he met first time in Dubai in 2006. It is debut for Sushmita on the small screen.
Akram who knows nothing about dancing is heavily depending on his partner Sushmita to do the merits. The ten episodes show will make each cricketer richer ranging from 15 lakhs to 80 lakhs and their partners by 25lakhs to 30 lakhs.
The show is titled as “ Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena” has gone air on 26th September,2008 with its first episode. The first episode has already created a furore over Harbhajan Singh’s Ravana dance with Mona Singh.
Lets hope the Indian media do not blow the controversy out of proportions so that Harbhajan can concentrate against the Aussies. Colors CEO, Rajesh Kamat is quite optimistic about the success of the show. Hopefully Indian public will love the show for the dance and the cricket part of it.
