My name is Chris Harris. I am from Magnolia, DE and have been a lifelong Caesar Rodney Rider. I went to Allen Frear, McIlvane, Star Hill, Postlethwait Middle School, and Caesar Rodney High School. While in High School I took all four years of the Architecture/CAD career pathway. After high school I went to West Virginia University to study engineering, but decided that teaching was my calling. I transferred to Millersville University where I majored in Technology Education. I graduated in December of 2009 and began teaching at Caesar Rodney High School in January of 2010. Three days before I started teaching I married my wife Michelle. She also grew up as a Rider, but is currently a teacher in the Smyrna School District. We have two children, Madelynn and Kayla
Extra Curricular Activities
I wrestled for 12 years at CR, from 1st through 12th grade. I was a varsity wrestler for all four years in high school. I am the Varsity Assistant Wrestling coach at the high school.
Outside of wrestling season I help Mr. Elmer with the Technology Student Association. I will be helping him again this year and we are hoping for an even better turnout for the state and national competitions.
