The Creswell Area Historical Society (CAHS) was founded in 1972 for the purpose of recording, marking, and preserving items of historical value to the Creswell area.
CAHS owns and operates the Creswell Historical Museum where exhibits celebrate the aspects of life in the local area from the early pioneers to recent times through actual items, photographs, displays, and more.
Besides operating the museum, CAHS presents events throughout the year and works on community projects such as the Applegate Trail Monument, July 4th Open House, Outreach to seniors & students, and other special programs.  Members also help the community with historical research and offer periodic genealogy classes.
CAHS is a 501c3 non-profit corporation.  All members are welcome to attend the monthly board meetings held at the museum at 4:30 pm on the second Thursday of each month.
Please join us in saving a bit of Creswell's past
for future generations to enjoy!
