Crescent Moon Herbals LLC began operation in September 2004 and is owned and operated by Mary Lavoie. CMH offers an extensive variety of herbal extracts (aka tinctures), organic culinary spices, medicinal herbs and assorted teas. Our herbs are ethically gathered and at peak potency. CMH is committed to providing quality products at affordable prices. All of our herbal products are prepared in small batches, by hand, right here in the great State of Maine! Our extracts are processed for several weeks in the time-honored way.

CMH is a participant in fund-raising for several animal organizations throughout Maine and the United States. For many years, Mary donated her time and services to a wolf sanctuary in Maine with the creation and upkeep of their website. In addition, CMH has raised money for a variety of non-profit agencies including Safe Haven Humane Society of Wells, Maine, and Another Chance Animal Rescue of North Berwick, Maine. CMH has also offered donations to the Loki Clan Wolf Refuge of North Conway, New Hampshire Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary of Ramah, New Mexico Wolf Hollow of Ipswich, Massachusetts and Shy Wolf Sanctuary of Naples, Florida, in support of their work with wolves and their educational programs. CMH is a supporter for Toys for Tots (Lebanon) and the MSAD60 Backpack Program to feed hungry children in our local school systems. In addition, CMH made a donation of fabrics to assist in the creation of more than 3,000 masks to be given to each student is MSAD60 during the 2020/2021 Covid-19 pandemic.
