Mission Statement

The mission of the school library media center is to meet the information and recreational needs of students, parents and staff at PS 57x The Crescent School. We will attain such objectives by supporting school curricula and providing access to information in a variety of formats. Our students are empowered to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.

Our goal is to assist in making every student at PS 57x an independent lifelong learner as well as to promote the acquisition of 21st Century skills.
