All Things Crazy Josh

posted Jan 1, 2015, 9:29 PM by Joshua Cravy

Okay, wow, we made it, all the way to 2015. I honestly didn't think we would. Happy new year to all of you, and Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or whatever you celebrate. As I did last year, I made a video of me counting down the seconds until the new year. I cut it really close this year though by starting the video at 11:55 PM. Yeah, not the smartest.  Anyway, it's basically 10 minutes of me addressing the fact that it's 2015. But I also talk about some of our holiday traditions such as watch Christmas Vacation and The Polar Express.

The holidays are fun, but now an entire new year is upon us. 2015 here we come. Good luck everybody.

Where Them Videos At?

Getting this out now before tomorrow when I post the video. I'm sure some, if not lots of you have been wondering where the heck the videos have been this last month. Halloween Thriller 2014, all the episodes of The Crazy 8 Show, I think I'm up to five plus the two halloween and thanksgiving specials, and just normal videos in between. Well, a day or so before the fourth episode of The Crazy 8 Show was supposed to come out, my laptop, phone, and iPad were stolen, as well as my hard drive. My hard drive had everything on it, literally, there wasn't a single picture or video on my computer, it was all on my hard drive. So I have none of the footage I filmed, or any of the hundreds of videos I have downloaded that I use all the time. Everything from a piece of music, to entire videos.
So for now, I'm using my family's computer, which has an awful video editor on it. But I'm gonna try to use it to make a few videos for you guys for the time being, until I get my stuff back. But there  is some non negative stuff. I've decided to make a schedule of all the videos I plan to do, and I'm making it publicly available for you guys to see. So I've got the planned video schedule, and the Crazy 8 Show schedule.

April Fools

So about 2 months ago, I posted my "farewell" video. I talked about how I was to busy with school work and I was going to quit youtube. But now, I can reveal that it was all part of my April Fools prank. Of course I didn't expect to not make any videos for this long, but I was able to rest and focus on school work more. It was nice, but I'm more than glad to be back.

Technical Difficulties

So today I posted my second short film of the year, but it's more like a short short film. I had troubles with the script and getting my family to shoot the scenes. Also, while editing, the entire project crashed and I couldn't get back to it, which meant re-editing the entire thing, a day before it had to be posted, which would have been near impossible. Luckily I had a 480p version of almost the entire thing, so I was able to work with that. But for some reason all the titles, superimposed pictures, and screen ratio was messed up, so I had to re-edit those parts, as well as any other parts that were easy enough to edit quickly. Finally, a day late, I finished it and uploaded it. I really wished it hadn't crashed, and I really wish I could have uploaded it on the 28th like I wanted, but hey, at least it got made.

The Short Film

So, today, the 31st, I posted my first short film of the year, Hue. More info on the video on my channel. And for those of you who are unaware, I'm planning to make and post a short film every month this year, that equals 12 by 2015. They will all be at least 10 minutes, hopefully longer, and they will be posted on the last day of each month, this month, the 31st, next month, the 28th, March, the 31st, and so on.
So January's film, Hue. The story is; One day, everyone wakes up, and all the colour in the world is gone, everything, just black and white. It's up to Josh and Dakota, just two normal kids from Washington, to save the color.

For a while now, I wanted to get a website so I could promote my channels a bit more, but I couldn't find a cheap enough domain, then I stumbled upon Google Sites. This is a genius idea on Google's part, a free website with nearly total control on how it looks.
So now I have a web site, the home base for all of the Crazy Josh Creations. There are links to all my channels and series, and there will be more series being added with time. Some series I'm going to start very soon include; The Crazy Video Game Nerd, Crazy Josh Critic, and Crazy josh Crank Calls. Hopefully you guys enjoy the new feel of my channels, and my website.
