The information to the right will be a log of severe weather damages occurring within Crawford County and is reported to:

2008 has started out to be an active weather year already.  The Super Tuesday tornado outbreak in central arkansas to snow and ice in Northwest Arkansas and South Central Arkansas.  This spring looks to be an active weather season.  So lets get geared up


Saturday May 10th, 2008

Severe Thunderstorms move through area.  Tornado watch issued.  At appox 7:20pm tornado warning issued for Crawford County.  CCDEM1 and CCDEM2 and Mulberry 201 were utilizing the AWIN radios.  The 145.190 Ham repeater and the Crawford County Fire radio were also being utilized.  Mountainburg 302 reported a funnel cloud almost on the ground at graphic community moving southeast.  This was confirmed by radar also.  Communities in the path of the storm were Mulberry, PV, and ozark.  Mulberry's pager were set off to warn firemen of aproaching danger along with the tornado sirens.   The storm went between District 2's station # 3 on Oak Bower Rd and Milsaps store on 215 N.  A funnel was seen in Franklin County on Old Wire Rd near the Lone Elm community.  No reports of damage were reported.
