I am the Technology Integration Teacher for Bedford High School, a public school in Bedford, New Hampshire. I am challenged to discover new and efficient ways of helping teachers and students integrate technology to make learning meaningful and fun. This can be anything: social media, Google Apps for Education, Web 2.0 Tools, Blogging, Videoing, etc. I have also enjoyed helping teachers and students learn in a 1-to-1 Chromebook program in our school.

My education career started as a High School Mathematics teacher for 8 years after I graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor's Degree. I taught all levels of math and enjoyed it.

It was not until 2009 when I decided to go back for my Master's Degree so that I could become a highly qualified Technology Integration Teacher. I earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from Fitchburg State University in 2012.

In 2014, I challenged myself to to become a Google Education Teacher. Not long after that, I applied to become a Google for Education Certified Trainer and was thrilled to discover that I was accepted to be part of a great group!

I absolutely love my job. I enjoy helping others learn how to better connect their curriculum with their students using technology. Whether it is helping step up blogs, share ideas collaboratively in a presentation, manage a teacher website, sharing content through Google classroom, 'flipping' their classroom by creating videos, or learning basic tricks and tips on how Google can make them work efficiently.

I present to other educators and students at tech conferences, workshops, and graduate level courses on topics such as: the Google Suite, Chrome, Blogger, YouTube and other web 2.0 tools. Depending on the environment, I am able to adapt my delivery on the basic ‘how to’ level all the way up to the advanced ‘take me to the next level’. Seeing as though I was in fact a classroom teacher prior to becoming a Technology Integrator, I have been able to keep really understand teacher demands, expectations, and roles when giving any sort of professional development training. My goal is to always spread my enthusiasm, expertise and experiences.

Let me show you how technology can help make you become an efficient, collaborative, and innovative educator. It is all about being a lifelong learner - and that is something I hold close to myself.
