Craft Renaissance Gallery

Cafe and Workshops

Stunning converted farm buildings

Craft Renaissance is run by husband and wife team John Bruce and Helen Mitchell, who live and work onsite. Craft Renaissance was John's vision, he developed the site and facilities from existing stone farm buildings.

We have always been a community of makers changing character over the years as buildings were renovated, workshops developed and new facilities created.

Gallery shop

Over 50 designer makers in the gallery and shop

Visitors to the gallery and shop are greeted by gallery manager Helen, textile artist Cayt Giles and glass designer maker Gill Rogers.

' We pride ourselves on a friendly welcome and enjoy our role promoting the artists and makers. We know most personally so can tell visitors that little bit more about their work. Our regulars say it is lovely knowing they can count on us for individual gifts handmade in Wales'

John divides his time between the ongoing development of Craft Renaissance and his motorcycle renovation projects.

Craft Renaissance is also home to a working community of artists and makers, textile art, through to glass art and metalwork.

Makers are available for commissioned work. Their workshops are not always open to the public, but all makers are happy to meet visitors by appointment - please call the gallery.

We offer opportunities for adults and children to learn new creative skills and develop their talents.

'Our philosophy is to encourage artists and makers by providing them with an attractive and supportive environment in which to make, display and sell their work'
