The day after surgery to repair and attach severed tendons in fingers after falling off a crane while servicing its diesel engine. I slipped on spilled oil and as I started to fall, I reached for the engine housing-which was sheet metal- and cut through the first three fingers on my left hand. I was working at High Lift Equipment Company in Pacoima, CA at the time.

Before Surgery
Had a run in with a wine glass and the glass won. It shattered in my hand. Luckily I only needed one little stitch but............... I severed the tendon in my hand leading to my baby finger and now the finger just sticks out there, like this, all the time. Tomorrow I go for surgery to repair it and then I get to look forward to 2-3 months of therapy.
