General information

The next international Workshop on Classical and Quantum Integrable Systems (CQIS-2011) will be held in the Institute for High Energy Physics (Protvino, Russia) on January 24-27, 2011. This workshop will be dedicated to the 65th anniversary of M. V. Saveliev who established the tradition of winter seminars on integrable systems, formerly National Russian. Previous workshops of this series took place in Protvino, Dubna and Chernogolovka.

The scientific scope of the Workshop covers

    ■  advanced mathematical methods for studying integrable systems
    ■  recent results on specific integrable models
    ■  statistical mechanics models and the theory of stochastic processes
    ■  modern mathematical methods in classical and quantum mechanics and field theory

It is planned to bring together 70 - 80 active researches in these fields from around the world. Traditionally, we expect significant participation of scientists from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Physics (Dubna), Landau Institute of Theoretical Physics (Chernogolovka), Lebedev Physical Institute and Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (Moscow), Steklov Mathematical Institute (Moscow and St. Petersburg branches).

The workshop sessions will be held in the Conference Hall of the Theory Division Building. The participants will normally have 40 minutes for their talks including questions.

Participation will be by invitation of the Organizing Committee.

The deadline for applications is December, 5, 2010.

In order to complete visa formalities the foreign participants should send by e-mail (preferably) or by FAX a scanned copy of the passport and the following information:

    ■  Institution (ZIP code and full address, phone, FAX)
    ■  Present position
    ■  Russian Embassy (Consulate) the authorization to issue visa should be sent to

The conference fee is EUR 300 (12 000 rub) which covers, in particular, the round-trip transportation from the airport to Protvino, the hotel accommodation and the banquet. The conference fee for Russian participants is expected to be covered by the RFBR grant.
