We need a certain amount of funding each year to cover expenses like the director's salary (part-time but still a cost!), supplies, phone, utilities, etc to keep the shelter in operation.   

At the Hope House which provides transitional housing as men move out of the shelter as well as offering resources for personal development, we have ongoing bills for utilities and building upkeep.

Our goal is to have a permanent location which will operate on a year round basis.   This will require funding for capital expenditures as well as for ongoing operating expenses.   We have set up a building fund and you may make donations to that fund.

NOTE:  Please do not drop off donations at the shelter unless you have 
        made arrangements to do so as our space is limited and we store many items offsite.

If you have donations of used blankets, coats, clothing, etc, please take them to the local thrift stores.   These places have the personnel and equipment to wash everything before it is used and we have a working relationship with them so that we can go to them to get what we need when we need it.
