These 4 areas have been selected according to access to the University Campus (see diagram below).

Area A - area around the metro Yellow line (the line that serves the University Campus); aprox. 10 to 15 minutes  from Marquês de Pombal station to the University Campus station (depending on what part of the Yellow line you are); it is a relatively 'flat' area and walking from one of the extreme points (the Marquês de Pombal square) to the University Campus takes aprox. 60 minutes.

Area B - downtown Lisbon ("Baixa" & "Chiado"); aprox. 20-25 minutes by metro to the University Campus;  change from blue line to the yellow line at the Marquês de Pombal station (change of platforms in this station).

Area C - area of the 1998 Lisbon World Exposition (Expo' 98); aprox.  25 - 30 minutes by metro to the University Campus; change from red line to the yellow line at the Saldanha station (change of platforms in this station).

Area D - area around the Avenue that links downtown to the Yellow Line (Avenida da Liberdade, between downtown and Marquês de Pombal square); change from blue line to the yellow line at the Marquês de Pombal station (change of platforms in this station); aprox. 20-25 minutes by metro to the University Campus.
