The Village Hall

Coxwold Village Hall

Introduction

The Village Hall in Coxwold continues to serve as the community hub for the village, having seen numerous weddings, parties, meetings, society events and dinners over the years.

The Hall is on the eastern edge of the village, with ample parking spaces and public toilets.

Facilities

Main Hall

The main hall is a light and spacious area which can seat 100 people at tables. We recently installed discreet acoustic panels on the walls and ceiling to ensure that the sound requirements of any event can be met. We also have a hearing loop available in the hall. As well as public toilets on the outside, we also have gents, ladies and accessible/baby changing toilets inside.

Committee Room

The committee room is available for small groups, meetings or activities. It can comfortably seat 20 people.

Kitchen

The well-stocked kitchen contains a cooker with large oven and 5 plate hob, fridge and dishwasher as well as a boiler for instant hot water. We have plenty of plates, cups, glasses and cutlery available for use.

Bar

The shuttered bar in the Village Hall can an be used if a temporary event notice has been applied for. We have a large number of drinks glasses available, as well as a separate fridge and freezer behind the bar.

Snooker Room

The snooker room which is upstairs has a full size snooker table.
