Zeller is an impressive physical specimen. He's almost seven-feet tall with long arms, but he moves very well. He's active on both ends, getting into good positions offensively and getting his hands in passing lanes defensively. He also has all the big man skills you're looking for- effective post game, shot blocking, rebounding, plus his jump shot is pretty decent. Zeller has huge upside and probably would have been a top-ten pick in the 2012 Draft. Instead, he returns to a loaded Indiana squad, which should be the best in the Big 10 (and he'll be the favorite for conference POY honors). If Zeller takes even a small step forward, he'll almost certainly be a top three pick. He reminds me of Anderson Varejao at this point in his development.

Cody Zeller has been very good once again this year. His numbers are very similar to last year- turnovers down a bit, rebounds up one, points down slightly. What worries me is the lack of growth. Granted, statistics aren't everything, but I haven't really seen much progress from Cody as a sophomore. Indiana may win the National Championship, and if they do, Zeller will probably go first overall. He'll be a top three pick regardless, but if they don't win it all, it was a mistake to come back to IU.
