North Carolina was one of college basketball's hottest teams down the stretch last season, and Marshall was a huge reason for it. He exploded for 16 assists against Florida State and notched double digits in assists in 5 of the team's last 10 games. He has great size and is the best pure point guard in the country. North Carolina's overwhelming depth and experience will help Marshall reach new heights as a sophomore.
Marshall has fantastic intangibles, but his raw athleticism is less than ideal. He isn't a good leaper or a strong finisher at the basket, and his lateral quickness is below average, so he may have a tough time guarding quick lead guards at the NBA level. Despite his glaring weaknesses, Marshall has shown the ability to produce. His size and pure point guard skills will make him similar to Andre Miller at the next level.
