Rivers is the most complete two guard prospect since Eric Gordon. He can score in a variety of ways and has a great pedigree and an above average basketball IQ for a player of his age. Rivers also has that killer instinct that makes good players truly great.
Duke was the perfect choice for Rivers. He has a reputation for being selfish on the floor and has already given himself the nickname "Sub Zero". He also needs to develop a better mindset defensively. No coach in America is better than Mike Krzyzewski at developing team-first players who provide a defensive presence. Rivers isn't elite athletically, but he has all the makings of a great shooting guard in the mold of Jason Richardson, Vince Carter, or even Kobe Bryant.
