We will achieve this by becoming the absolute best at delivering grade-level, standards aligned instruction & proactive behavior support in every classroom, every day.

VISION

Cottonwood Elementary is a place where Wildcats rise to the challenge to grow into kind, confident, and capable humans.

At Cottonwood, every child is known, valued, and challenged to do their best, to love learning, and to positively impact their school and community.

School Hours:

8:00 AM -Playground Supervision begins. Please do not drop your child(ren) off before 8:00 AM

8:15 - 8:35 AM -  Breakfast in the Cafeteria. 

8:45 AM First Bell 

8:50 AMTardy Bell     

3:30 PM  - School dismissed. All students who do not ride the bus are to exit the school campus. 

3:30 – 4:00 PM-  Playground closed. Please do not enter the playground. 

Students are to report to the bus stop, to Pick-Up Loop, parent designated area, or start walking home immediately once school is dismissed.  This helps ensure safetly of all students as additional supervision is not availabe. 

Students who do not ride buses should walk home or be picked up by 3:45 PM eacy day.

PARENT/GUARDIAN VISITATION 

We do require ALL visitors to enter through the front doors, check in with the office, sign in with a nID and get a visitor's badge to wear while inside the school or on school grounds during school hours. 

• This is for the safety of all of our students and is aligned to district policy. 

• If you would like to visit a classroom, we ask that you make arrangements with the teacher prior to your visit. 

• Parents waiting for their child(ren) to be dismissed will be asked to wait outside of the school. 

We realize the importance of a close working relationship between school and home. Your child(ren) will benefit from this. The staff looks forward to a pleasant partnership in providing a great education for your child(ren).

All visitors will need an ID.  If you are coming for a meeting or visiting a classroom, you MUST sign in /scan a valid ID. 

Students will need to be signed out for appointments, please haven your ID.  This is for the safety of our students and school.  Thank you for your help in ensuring a safe and secure environment.
