NOTICE OF 2025 ANNUAL MEETING
The 2025 meeting will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Knee Knockers Bar and Grill at Cattails Golf Course in Alamosa with a taco bar.
NOTICE OF 2024 ANNUAL MEETING
The 2024 annual meeting for homeowners will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at The Knee Knockers Bar and Grill at Cattails GolfCourse, Alamosa. Refreshments will be served, and you are welcome to order dinner/drinks (no-host) from the menu. You will receive an invitation in the mail with the agenda and a proxy form. If you would like to run for a board position or committee member, please contact one of the officers ahead of time. If you are not able to attend, please fill out a proxy form, included in your packet or located under the Documents section. We will be voting on adopting the Revised and Amended articles, by-laws, and declaration of covenants (C, C and R), and 67% vote of the owners is required to pass this (36 votes), so your proxy and/or attendance is very important. If you would like a hard copy, please contact Donna Wehe.
Section 4.3 of the proposed Declaration of the C, C & R (2nd Draft) addresses the Limited Expense Community that were previously adopted by the members.
2023 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT IS DUE
The annual assessment for 2023 is due by April 30, 2023. It is $100.00 per lot. You will receive the notice in the invitation to the annual meeting. Please pay via Venmo or bring your payment to the meeting. You may mail your payment to:

NOTICE OF 2016 ANNUAL MEETING
Since we did not have a quorum at the March meeting, we will try again! You received a packet in the mail with important information. Please bring that packet with you to the meeting on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Grille at Cattails Golf Course. A Cinco de Mayo dinner will be provided starting at 5:30 pm. The plan is to have the dinner and meeting on the back patio, but if the weather won't allow that, we will be inside. The annual meeting will follow immediately after the dinner. City officials will be on hand to discuss weed control. Elections will be held for Board positions and two members of the Design Review Committee. Please attend or complete the proxy form so we can attain a quorum and conduct business.

2016 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT IS DUE
The annual assessment is $200.00. It is due upon receipt of the invoice, which you should have received in January.
ENFORCEMENT FOR COVENANT AND RULE VIOLATIONS
The HOA attorney has prepared a Resolution of the Cottonwoods at Cattails, Blocks, 4, 5, and 6 HOA Regarding Policies and Procedures for Covenant and Rule (Bylaw) Enforcement. The Board adopted the resolution on 9/1/15. Please review the document posted under Documents on this site. You are responsible for understanding the consequences of violations of the covenants or bylaws. The resolution also explains the procedures if you, as a homeowner, have a complaint.
DEADLINE FOR BALLOT RETURN
Please return your ballot regarding the proposed second amendment to the declaration (DRC). It must be received by September 2, 2015 at 5:00 pm. Note that it must be received by this date - not postmarked. The information was mailed on July 23, 2015. If you need another copy, you can find the documents listed under Documents on this site. You can return the completed ballot by delivering it to 812 Cottonwood Circle, or you can mail your ballot to:

The Board strongly encourages you to vote for this amendment. It will allow the Board to appoint a volunteer for a vacancy on the Design Review Committee (DRC) until the next election, and it will allow us to have one annual meeting (instead of two), where we elect Board members and DRC members.
NOTICE OF HOA PICNIC
There will be a family picnic for all homeowners on August 20, 2015, at 6 pm in front of 900 Cottonwood Drive. All homeowners and their families are invited. Let's take this opportunity to get together in an informal setting. The Association will provide barbecued beef and pulled pork sandwiches, paper products, and drinks (soda and water). NOTICE OF SPECIAL JULY 9, 2015 MEETING
There will be a special meeting held to fill the vacancy of the 1-year term on the DRC. The meeting will be held on July 9th at 6 pm at the Senior Center (92 Colorado Avenue) by Cole Park in Alamosa. If you cannot attend, please complete the proxy form.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL JULY MEETING
A quorum was not present at the June 3rd meeting so the DRC vacant position was not filled. Please return your ballots by July 1st. If the ballots proposals pass, the Board will be able to make an appointment to the DRC. If they do not, there will be another meeting on July 9th to try again to elect another DRC member. The meeting on July 9th will be at 6 pm at the Senior Center.
NOTICE OF JUNE ANNUAL MEETING
The next meeting of the Cottonwoods at Cattails HOA will be held on June 3, 2015 (first Wednesday in June) at 6:00 pm at the Alamosa Senior Center at 92 Colorado Avenue (by Cole Park).
The purpose of this meeting is to fill the one-year vacancy on the DRC and to discuss proposed changes to the bylaws and covenants. The proposed changes to the declaration covenants and bylaws along with a mail-in ballot were mailed to all homeowners.
SECOND MAILING OF BALLOT
On May 27, 2015, a second mailing was sent which included additional information for the mail-in vote. The ballots are due by 5:00 pm on July 1, 2015. Please see the Documents section to review the documents.

If you have not yet submitted the annual assessment in the amount of $200, please do so as soon as possible. Second notices will be mailed by April 17, 2015. You may be subject to interest charges for failure to submit in a timely manner.
