IMPORTANT: Electronic Consent forms requested for competition

posted Nov 4, 2015, 9:14 PM by Webmaster Corning Robotics   [ updated Nov 4, 2015, 9:16 PM ]

All Parents and Participants for competition,

FIRST is instituting a new online parent and youth participant registration process for competition.  I just saw how it works the process can take approximately 20 minutes to fill out all the required information for the parent first, create an account, get confirmation and then go through the process of registering the child or youth participant.  On this system you need to know what team registration number to use in order to have your child in the system electronically.  The process for me to enter each individual parent’s name and email is time consuming so I am hoping that you can also go in without a direct invitation from me.    Please use the “Team Reg #” (i.e. 746XX or 2225X) column below corresponding to properly select the team your child is in.

The advantage in creating an account online and signing the electronic consent is that the record will stay for any official event.  IMPORTANT:  if you do not complete the online process and sign the electronic consent form, you will need to fill out and sign the attached form and make sure that the coach has it for each competition event.
