Welcome to the Cornell Law Students Service Trips (CLSST) homepage.  CLSST is a group of Cornell University law students that volunteer their time during spring break to the under-served communities of the Gulf Coast.  The group organizes alternative spring break trips each year with the Student Hurricane Network (SHN).  Students are placed in jobs doing legal aid, government work, or physical labor.

The group was created in response to the devastation to the Gulf Coast, especially the city of New Orleans, in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.  The group is in its fourth year and is currently planning this year's trip to Galveston, Texas.

CLSST is an independent student organization and is not affiliated with Cornell University.
