About us:

The Cornell Caribbean Students Association (CCSA) was founded in 1985. Since our inception, CCSA has strived to bring the issues and culture of the Caribbean to the forefront by promoting Caribbean political and social awareness on campus and organizing lecture series featuring stellar Caribbean scholars. Our motto “All ah wi ah one big family” reflects our commitment to promoting unity and consciousness amongst the Caribbean community. Our general body meetings provide a mechanism through which members are able to share their experiences and learn about current events pertaining to the Caribbean community. Each year CCSA holds its Caribfest, a week-long celebration of the Caribbean culture. The activities held during Caribfest typically consist of community service, cultural shows, Caribbean cuisine, a fundraiser to support various causes, and a banquet to celebrate accomplishments related to Caribbean culture. CCSA has grown and continues to grow as we plan and arrange bigger and bigger events each year.
