Round Robin Group Format - DAYTIME
A DAYTIME group consists of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 TEAMS.
Any DAYTIME skill group that has less than 8 TEAMS can still play a full season. In this case, TEAMS will play one or more of the other TEAMS more than once. This adjustment will be automatically included in the TEAMS' schedules.
For a group to participate in the league, it must have 3 TEAMS registered by May 1st. or that group is eliminated.
Round Robin Group Format - CAREER
A CAREER group consists of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 TEAMS.
For a group to participate in the league, it must have 3 TEAMS registered by May 1st. or that group is eliminated.
Any CAREER skill group that has 3 TEAMS can still play a full season. In this case, TEAMS will complete the round three times instead of twice. This adjustment will be automatically included in the TEAMS' schedules.
Combo GROUPS
If 2 consecutive (i.e., 3.5, 4.0) skill or age groups have insufficient numbers of TEAMS, the groups can combine to make a combined skill group. For example, a 7.5 combined skill group would consist of TEAMS, each made up of roughly an even number 3.5 and 4.0 players. Combined TEAMS can play each other as long as they are similarly matched (i.e., a 7.5 Combo TEAM can play another 7.5 Combo TEAM)
TEAM Format
A TEAM consists of a minimum of 6 similarly skilled or similarly aged players. There is no maximum number of players on a TEAM. One member of a TEAM must be the designated captain (or 2 players designated co-captains). No members may join after registration closes.
TEAMS can choose their own names. The default TEAM name is TEAM 1, TEAM 2, etc.
Player Options
There are no limitations on how many TEAMS a player can play on as long as the TEAMS are not in the same Round Robin Group.
A player can also be a substitute and can substitute on any number of teams in different divisions as follows: in addition to playing at his/her own skill and age levels, a player may play up in skill and down in age (if applicable). Any player wishing to be a substitute must add his/her name to the official Sub List.
USAPA ratings apply
USAPA player skill rating definitions are followed to ensure fair play. If anyone on any TEAM has 3 complaints against him/her by opposing players for being too skilled for that level that player must move up a skill level *immediately* and join another TEAM. No refund is given to a player who must move from one TEAM to another but chooses instead to quit playing in the league. No refund is given to a player who must move off of a team but there is not another team to move to. That player is out of the league for that season.
Ages are determined on June 1st of the current year.
