League Format
The 3-Line Doubles league is held at Scarborough East Tennis Club, 5641 Alshire Blvd Columbus, Ohio 43232. Jacqueline Boggs is the Director of Central Ohio Pickleball Leagues. Contact information: 614 578-5326, copleagues@gmail.com.
Anyone is welcome to be a league member.
The 3-Line Doubles Summer League consists of a limited number of skill and skill / age groups playing during the summer season. See Schedule of Play under 3-Line League tab above.
League matches are played on established, painted pickleball courts. Play can take place indoors or outdoors as time and court availability dictate. This includes doubles matches being played on both indoor and outdoor courts for one TEAM competition.
LEAGUE AND DIVISION FORMAT
Match times are guaranteed regardless of weather. No make up matches!!
Division Format
We offer a DAYTIME section and a EVENING / WEEKEND (called CAREER) section in the league. We offer MENS doubles and a WOMENS doubles divisions in both sections, and MIXED doubles in the CAREER section.
There is no singles division in the league at this time. If you would like COP Leagues to offer a singles division or any other division in the future, please request it <here>.
The daytime groups are all 55-and-over skill / age groups and consist of the following groups:
Womens 3.5 / 55-and-over
Womens 4.0 / 55-and-over
Mens 3.5 / 55-and-over
Mens 4.0 / 55-and-over
The career groups are all "open" (i.e., any age) skill groups and consist of the following:
Womens 3.5
Womens 4.0
Mens 3.5
Mens 4.0
Mens 4.5
Mixed 3.0
Mixed 3.5
Mixed 4.0
Support for League
The Director provides League Management which includes the following: match schedules, guaranteed court availability, online tools to easily manage TEAM rosters as well as issue rosters for each match, USAPA approved balls for the match, email app to easily enter scores online after matches, an official Sub List including substitute availability per week, overall League results posted in a timely manner.
