Our site is a little gem in the North of the county, nestling in the beautiful countryside of North Staffordshire yet only 8 miles from the conurbations of Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke on Trent is the Copeland Cottage Brownie and Guide Camp site owned by Guiding Divisions in Stoke, Longton and Newcastle. The site includes a pack holiday house, camping field, overnight shelter and ancient woodland.

Copeland Cottage is fully equipped for 26 people. There are five bedrooms (including leader's room with en suite) a large lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen plus separate activity room, toilets and showers. There are good facilities for disabled visitors. There is a grassed area for outdoor activities plus access to the woodland.

The Harrison Camp site has a level camping field with two cooking shelters and camp fire circle. Dry shelter is provided by the Breeze Chalet (which is also available to hire separately from the camp site) which includes a large activity room, toilets, shower and a kitchen. The camp site is equipped for 36 campers.

Adjoining the site is our ancient woodland with its mature trees and carpet of bluebells in the spring, this provides a wonderful place to undertake some of the onsite activities; pioneering, den building, orienteering, woodland trails and wide games.

Don't just think about visiting us for your camps and pack holidays it can also be your venue for day and evening events: – BBQ's, trainings, unit meetings, promise ceremonies, sleepovers, camp fires and social events.
