(070/365) February 6, 2011: Super Bowl bores children
I threw a Super Bowl bash, which my buddy Nate's suggested we do about a month ago. He wanted to cook and I have two ovens, so I hosted and invited a mess of people and their kids. The kids could have cared less about the game and honestly so did I since the Steelers gave the game away with three turnovers. Since apples don't fall far from their trees it's probably easy to see that some of my friends are gamers and just flat out the coolest nerds I've ever known. Sadly, even the somewhat flat episode of Glee wasn't enough to pull me out of my Steelers-just-lost-the-Super-Bowl funk. Instead, I decided to clean my kitchen so I would have less to do the next day. I like it when a plan comes together.
