A closer shot of the shrimp with skewers holding them. Also, to note, you can see the vein of the shrimp as well. One quick tip is to take a small knife and slice it open along the vein. You can keep it in. That's no worries at all. You typically want to get spices and powders in this spot of the shrimp if you apply the slicing open technique. This also only works if you remove the shell from the shrimp as we did here.
This is what minced really looks like, my friend. It's not the same as chopping. You need a small, sharp knife, and you cut the clove into slivers in two directions -- leaving the "root" end of the clove intact -- before slicing off the tiny chunks from the tip to the "root."
